After 10 years of existence and almost 250 graduates of 70 nationalities, the Europubhealth programme now becomes “Europubhealth+” and includes a new partner university (Maastricht University), prestigious associated partners and a range of innovative academic features.
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission renewed its support for the European Master in Public Health Europubhealth by awarding it the Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus label of excellence for 5 more years.
For 2017 intake, the Europubhealth+ consortium will award Erasmus+:Erasmus Mundus scholarships to the best ranked students who apply before the deadline, with a maximum of 47.000 Euros for the two-year course, depending on the applicant’s nationality and place of residence.
6 European universities, with the EHESP School of Public Health as coordinating institution, collaborate to deliver this innovative, integrated 2-year Master course (120 ECTS) for students wishing to engage in a public health career at the local, national or global level. Emphasizing at its core the urgent need to build sustainable health systems whilst addressing health inequalities, EPH+ provides multi-disciplinary training delivered in a unique multi-cultural environment.
EPH+ skills-up the best students seeking to tackle contemporary global health challenges. This includes leading technological and organisational innovation, ensuring implementation of policies and programmes consistent with laws and regulations, responding to the burdens of chronic conditions, containing threats such as environmental incidents or emerging infections, and managing an ageing population.
