In line with the lockdown measures against the spread of the Coronavirus currently in place in many countries, the campuses of the Europubhealth+ consortium member universities are closed until further notice. The Europubhealth+ programme is now being delivered online and everything has been arranged for students to keep achieving their learning outcomes. Our top priority is always the health and safety of students and staff. We're closely following the latest advice and guidance issued by the different governments. We will continue to take all appropriate and necessary steps, as required by the official advice, to keep our community safe.
We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to plan for all possible circumstances, and as the situation changes we will keep you updated.

To prospective students and offer holders
We understand that you may have concerns about the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Please know that the consortium is committed to doing everything in its power to deliver the programme as normal for September 2020 intake. Although we should expect to face some new modalities in the different processes and their timing (eg. visa application timeline), the application deadlines and enrolment process for September 2020 intake remain unchanged for now. We're still hoping to begin the 2020/2021 academic year as usual in September 2020.
We are also working on preparing contingency plans to manage any precautions we all may have to take as the situation evolves. We'll let you know of any changes in our pre-arrival communications.
If you have been selected to join the course in September 2020 as a self-funded student, you will be asked to pay your first-year tuition fees before the indicated deadline in order to complete your enrolment in the programme. At this stage, the refund policy allows a full refund of the deposit in case of withdrawal if it occurs before the 15. August 2020. According to the evolution of the situation, refund policies could be updated.

We'll continue to issue any further advice and guidance as it becomes available, so we encourage everyone to read the information contained here carefully and regularly, and to follow the instructions given.

ASPHER supports sustaining and strengthening the ECDC mandate for international action. ASPHER calls on Europe’s governing bodies, the European Commission and individual countries: to recognize the specific expertise of public health professionals involving them in decision-making to effectively coordinate European and in-country action; to invest adequate funding and resources in health systems, essential public health operations, planning and preparedness; and to include health in all policies.
